Project Quality Plan

This task, creating the PQP is making me so busy the whole week and I got no time to go to the site. I sat in the office the whole day today but I can expect what are the subcons going to do for today.

Luckily I've submitted the inspection forms to the KLIACS yesterday so I didn't bother about the forms today but to concentrate on my PQP as my PM started asking me for the PQP which it is almost 1 week week already since I got this task from him. This is the first time I'm creating and editing PQP, for my previous project I only implement it. So this is a good experience for me too.

Anyway, Project Quality Plan is one of the most important document for every site and I'm sure all of you might have heard about this document. All the process from admin to construction works are stated inside it and we are supposed to implement it till the end of the project.

I hate doing this.

I've been doing this for 2 years and the post I applied for and given to me is 'Site Engineer' but on site they turned me into QA Manager. I don't wan't! But since I got this QAQC works experiences I accept it for the sack of my performance and hoping to get a better salary increment after 3 months. WTH!!!

This PQP is another bible in construction (after the Bill of Quantities). The documents and the administration processes are stated inside it. If there is any (Oh, I hate to say this...) QUALITY AUDIT, then they will check according to the PQP we've submitted to the client.

So, my target is finish it by tomorrow, then I will go back to the site again and update the process for you.

*Anyway, the submission of inspection forms 1 day before the activity is given giving me a trouble. It's so impossible to expect what will the sub con do the next day. Haihhhh....

The Road

The airport expansion project started its road construction 1st so that they can close the existing road to the terminal building lobby. From my observation the road is 50% done and hopefully by end of this month or early January.

When the road is almost completed, the existing road to the building will be close and the new road will be opened to public. 6 lanes compared to the existing 3 lanes. Much more convenient for those who only want to drop the passenger or waiting by the road side for the passenger instead of parking their cars at the new parking space.

There is a new building, Central Utility Building, still under under construction only reach to the footing level. That is the building that we need to expedite so that the existing utility building and the water tank beside the terminal building can be demolished for piling works after they moved in to the new Central Utility Building not far from the existing.

Sorry, I didn't have a photo to show to you today. I will upload it by tomorrow so that you can have a better and clearer view.

For the work sequences, expansion will be started on the left side and the right side before going to the center of the building which it will be the hardest part.
